A few Taco/Burrito stops that never fail in So Cal

When it comes to simplicity and value Henrys always brings me back when I am anywhere near North Hollywood for a quick stop Taco Fix. The menu is a no frills affair. The Tacos and Burritos never fail.The Tacos boast nothing special and that suits me fine The Ground Beef is mildy seasoned shredded lettuce/mild chedder cheese and tomato and nothing more. Their Taco sauce makes it all come together, served on the side, slather your Taco with it and dig in. One other Item on the limited menu is The Taco Burger. Just like the Taco the only exception is the Shell is replaced with a burger bun...like the Taco it will be gone in sixty seconds.
Lastly is the Price....unbelievable! Two Tacos and a Taco Burger for about $5 bucks.Be sure to leave a little change in the Tip Jar!

Ernie's is all about the Skylab Burrito! I have tried many Menu Items over the years and always come back for the Skylab. It's a whopper so be ready to eat through the monster. this burrito is served wet with enchilada sauce, shredded cheese, guacamole and sour cream as garnish. One may choose the meat inside, and I opted for carnitas. It was warm and tender. Tomatoes and other burrito fair are also inside.
Also The Chips and Salas - Warm tortilla chips and their house salsa are served upon being seated. The sauce is savory and onion-filled. The chips are not greasy, and light-as-air. One can easily fill up on these, so be careful.
Enjoy their Famous Margarita's or a ice cold Negro Modelo to calm the fire down in your mouth as the salsa can be el scorcho..

salsa and beer serves authentic mexican food from jerez zacatecaz! the plates are large and you will leave this restaurant feeling well fed. The beer list is full of great mexican beers to compliment your meal. You can relax outside on the patio or enjoy the colorful interior. They have the best salsa in the valley! so come in and find out for yourself!
Two Menu items that are a must would have to be The Carnitas Platter and the Camorones a la diabla both deliver mind blowing flavors. The Salsa Bar is amazingly freash and tasty...mild to scorchingly hot. Chips and a Queso Frijole Dip come with your drinks right when you sit down so beware not to enjoy the Dip and Chips n Salsa too much..Alone with a cold corona would satisfy most for a full meal!

*****I have a healthy appitite to say the least and I always leave with enough food to take home for two more meals from one serving platter alone! Load up plenty of Salsa's to go with your to go box's..
